Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is an intermediate/advanced ensemble designed to emphasize continued individual development in areas such as technique, tone, and music literacy. Students are encouraged to participate in the All Region audition learning process to help build those individual skills. The Symphonic Band performs at our Fall Concert, Winter Concert in December, Pre UIL and UIL evaluations, and a Spring Concert in May. They will also perform at school pep rallies, football games, outside competitions and invitational festivals.  The Symphonic Band consists of 7th/8th grade students that have completed Beginning Band. Admission is by audition with strict adherence to instrumentation guidelines.
